Emerald Lake Park is situated in the township of Emerald, Victoria. It is approximately a one hour drive East from Melbourne City.

The park can be found by using the Melways directory with map 127 and reference J4. Click on the links at the bottom of the page for a location map and a map of the park.
 
By Car
Directions to Emerald Lake Park from Melbourne City by car are as follows:

1) Take the M1 freeway and turn off at Wellington Road.
2) Continue through Clematis, turn right at the 'T' junction, to Emerald.
3) Drive through Emerald township to the second roundabout and turn right into Beaconsfield Rd.
4) Keep left to enter Emerald Lake Road.
 
By Public Transport
Emerald Lake Park can also be reached by train by:
1)Catch the MET train from Melbourne City to Belgrave (see
metlinkmelbourne for timetable details.)
2) Upon arriving at Belgrave station walk to Puffing Billy Railway station.
3a) Board the tourist train Puffing Billy and travel to Lakeside - Emerald Lake Park. (see Puffing Billy Railway for timetables.)
OR
3b) On weekdays, take US Motors bus route 695 (Belgrave-Gembrook) to Royal Parade Emerald then walk down (approx 2 minutes) to Emerald Lake Park. (see metlinkmelbourne for timetable details.)
