There are five Picnic Shelters available for hire at Emerald Lake Park. Description of each park follows. Location of shelters can be seen on the Park Map

| Lions Den | | The largest of the shelters, Lions Den provides for up to 100 people.
Located above the Model Railway the Lions Den Shelter has access to toilets and a barbeque for free use.
There are numerous parking spaces directly beside the shelter.
Cost of hiring Lions Den is $126 per day.

| Messmate | | As the second largest of the shelters available for hire at Emerald Lake Park, Messmate provides space for 60 people and has two barbeques for free use.
Located beside the Puffing Billy Railway line, Messmate offers a prime position to see Puffing Billy. Parking is available close by.
Cost of hiring Messmate is $80 per day.

| Boatshed | | Located centrally in the park the Boatshed offers easy access to all facilties and activities. Enjoy the view over the lake and take advantage of the location to watch Puffing Billy arrive. The shelter would suit a group of up to 40 people.
Cost of Hiring Boatshed is $53 per day.

| Poolside | | Located above the wading pool, poolside is also central located near the children playground.
Fitting up to 40 people, Poolside is great for the family gathering.
Cost of hiring Poolside is $53 per day.

| Lakeside | | The fifth of the shelters available for hire at Emerald Lake Park, Lakeside is nestled amongst the trees and has views over the lake. Suitable for groups up to 40 people, it is located close to the wading pool and childrens playground.
